Learning Hands Only CPR is the most effective way to help someone you love or perhaps a total stranger have a greater chance of surviving a cardiac arrest. Cardiac Arrest is a condition of the heart in which the heart suddenly stops beating, causing loss of blood flow to the brain, leading the person to become unconscious and stop breathing.
Once the heart stops beating, or a person stops breathing, they have only 4-6 minutes to survive. However, if they do not  receive immediate help in the form of Hands Only CPR chances are they will die. (https://americancpr.com/cprfacts.html).
There are three major signs you will see in a person when a cardiac arrest occurs:

1. Sudden collapse.
2. Unresponsiveness
3. Abnormal breathing gasping or no breathing at all.

9 out of 10 people who experience a cardiac arrest outside of the hospital will die before they get to the hospital. 70% of cardiac arrest occurs at home. This means there is a very good chance you may actually witness a family member or a friend having a cardiac arrest. Hands Only CPR can improve the odds of survival. Your hands could be part of a miracle! Have you ever read the histories of the saints gone before and stood in awe? Look at Noah using his two hands to build an ark! Look at Moses taking in his hand the rod and the parting of the Red Sea! Look at Joshua and the seven priests with trumpets in hand sounding victory! Now, consider Jesus laying His hands on the sick and the lame and them being healed. Further, open your hands before you and consider what Jesus Christ, who dwells in you longs to do with your hands.
