EarthBasic. Take care. Bless many.
Let's get to the root--the source. Let's move beyond the surface, to what is unseen yet mighty in shaping the more readily perceived aspects of our lives. Let's get to the heart of the matter. The heart is many things. In the natural it is a mass of muscle pumping oxygen and nutrient rich blood through our bodies. (How Your Heart Works). Whereas in the spiritual, it is the place of thinking (Matthew 9:4), the seat of our emotions (John 16:22), the point from which we exercise our will (Acts 11: 23) and site of our conscience (Hebrews 10:22 & 1 John 3:20). (What is the Heart in the Bible?). Join us this month as we learn how to guard our tangible and intangible hearts, from which all issues pertaining to life flow. (Proverbs 4:23). Heart Challenge Part 1 Know your numbers. Schedule your appointment today! Ask your doctor to check your blood pressure, body mass index, fasting blood sugar and cholesterol levels so as to help you assess your risk for heart disease. If you already know your numbers you can take this pre-assessment: Heart Disease Risk Assessment. Heart Challenge Part 2 Take a few minutes to spend in silence and solitude so that you may take note of what populates your thought and emotional life, reflect on how you make your choices and whether or not repentance is a regular part of your life. You may use the visual below to help you consider the truth you uncover against the Scriptural standard of a whole heart. Happy temple building!
Take care. Bless many.
