EarthBasic. Take care. Bless many.
Hello Beloved! Three weeks ago we invited you to pursue and recover it all. We extended such an invitation with Godly confidence because we know that God's will for our lives is to experience the fullness He secured for us through His great suffering and miraculous recovery. Jesus's victory on Calvary is to echo in our lives. On Calvary He finished the work of destroying the inventions of our enemy Satan; He finished the work of granting us access to the balm that heals spirit, soul and body. Therefore, we pursue wellness by faith in His sufficiency. We believe that He has supplied all that is needful for our wholeness. We also believe that His provision comes to us in the presence of others. God loves people. He loves people so much that He literally gave His life to save them. He gave His life to save us. (John 3:16). Even more miraculous, is the truth that He pours Himself into everyone who will receive Him by faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:5). The earthly frames, that we sometimes pass by hurriedly in transit or even in church, are carriers of His divine person. In everyday people we can come to see and experience the very grace of God. Grace counted when we were offered the promise, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV). This week we encourage you to recover it all in the company of likeminded others. Get in community! Try participating in one of the many lifestyle change programs sponsored by the National Diabetes Prevention Program. You are eligible to participate if you are 18 years or older, overweight and meet one of the following criteria: have a recent blood test in the pre-diabetes range or received a result of high risk in the Pre-diabetes Risk Test. Find your program here: https://nccd.cdc.gov/DDT_DPRP/Programs.aspx. If you are unable to participate in the available programs and or find insufficient options in your neighborhood, prayerfully consider taking up the mantle and initiating the process for the creation of a CDC certified diabetes prevention program in your local church. "The CDC Diabetes Prevention Recognition Program (DPRP) is a voluntary program for organizations interested in establishing local evidence-based lifestyle change programs for people at high risk for type 2 diabetes." (Organizational Capacity Assessment for Applicant Organizations to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Diabetes Prevention Recognition Program (DPRP)). Ready to bless many as you take care? Download the following capacity assessment and complete with the relevant persons in your church community to assess readiness and plan for the implementation of the program: ![]()
