Hello Beloved! We are happy you are still journeying with us. Last week we launched our 5 week series, tackling the lies we believe that influence the choices we make about how we feed our bodies, based on the teaching of Asheritah Ciuciu, articulated in "5 Common Food Lies Women Believe (and How to Fight Back)".

Today we tackle the lie that seeks to delay our path to wellness, with the invitation to value instant gratification over longterm gains: "It won't hurt for me to have that. I will start tomorrow." We're doing well--eating in a way that supports the health of our bodies--and then we get the email inviting us to the staff room to celebrate your coworkers birthday. Dilemma! Do I go? Do I stay? If I go, do I eat her double chocolate fudge cake or do I eat my trail mix?  In moments like these we encourage you to embrace the truths below (feel free to download and share):

    Editor

Carolyn Sinclair McCalla is a daughter of God who believes that as we seek the truth of God's Word, and humble ourselves to live in agreement with it, that we will experience the transformation which allows us to enter wholistic wellness: spirit, soul and body. She is the Founder and President of EarthBasic and leads its Be-Held Community: a group of women seeking, living and being transformed by the truth of God’s Word together. She is excited about this addition to the Be-Held Community, which will provide loving, sustainable, Christ-centered and well researched resources to support women in cultivating a life of wholistic self-care: spirit, soul, and body, which will in turn equip them to bless the generations in their care.
