EarthBasic. Take care. Bless many.
Hello Beloved! We hope that last week's overnight oatmeal served to get you off to a great start in the mornings. We are back with an equally delicious, nutritious and easy meal from Chris's Kitchen: frittata! As you prepare your frittata, we invite you to the practice of stillness. So often we approach the work of preparing the first meal of the day as just another item to check off our to-do list. Our goal is to cook, eat and get out! But, we want to encourage you to lean into Jesus with the time it takes you to prepare this week's recipe. Offer prayers of thanksgiving for each food item and, your unhindered ability to follow-through with each step of directions, the cutting, chopping, etc. Sing a song unto the Lord--your own or one we all know-- and open yourself to a greater measure of His peace to start your day. The spirit of hastiness will try to hurry you along. But, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13). Happy temple building! Take care. Bless many. ![]() Chris’s Last Minute Frittata Total calories= 665 kcals, Serves 8 (83 kcals per slice) Ingredients 4 Eggs, beaten 1 Plummy Tomato, seeded and julienned 1/2 Large Green Bell Pepper, julienned 1 Medium Carrot , finely julienned 3 oz Cheddar or Pepper Jack Cheese 2 tsps Garlic Powder Salt, to taste Black Pepper, to taste ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper 1 tbsp Oil Steps
