EarthBasic. Take care. Bless many.
Today will be my first run since Labor Day. The time between, my last run and this day, has been humbling as I have tried and failed to rekindle the flame of my running practice. What has become clear is that, "while it should be as easy as simply lacing up every day, physical training is only part of the equation. Daily motivation, what gets you out the door, is a mental game, and one that needs constant attention." (Pattillo, A. 2017, January 31. 8 Tips to Stay Motivated Throughout the Year [online article]. Retrieved from http://running.competitor.com/2017/01/training/8-tips-to-stay-motivated-throughout-the-year_161311).
Join us as we engage each of the 8 tips outlined in our source article, 8 Tips to Stay Motivated Throughout the Year. Together we will get our mental game sharpened, so that we can get our bodies ready to do all the exploits the Lord has purposed them to do! This week's tip, and call to action, is to identify why you move. Remember the best why, will always connect you to the purpose God has for your life. Consider the following scriptures to help you put Jesus at the center of your WHY: 1 Corinthians 3: 16 - 17, 1 Corinthians 6: 19 - 20 & 3 John 1: 2.
