Hello Beloved! Here we are with recipe #10 in our 13 week series of healthy, delicious, no frills meals to help you build and sustain your temple. This week's recipe is Chocolate Black Bean Squares. As you enjoy these familiar flavors, we often attribute to comfort foods, we encourage you to comfort your souls with the meat of the Word. (Hebrews 5: 12 - 14). Food can never satisfy soul pangs--only God can do that. So, let each bite of earthly food, remind you of the incalculable value of heavenly food. Set aside time to be one-on-one with the God who created you. Listen to Him open up of the truth of His Word by His Holy Spirit living in you. Bless many. ![]() Chocolate Black Bean Squares Total kcals: 2021 kcals, Serves 20, (101 kcals per serving) Ingredients 1 cup canned Black Beans, rinsed, drained and pureed 2 sticks Butter, melted 3/4 cup White Sugar 1/2 cup Cassava Flour 1/3 cup Cocoa Powder 1 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder 2 Eggs, beaten Steps 1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2) Combine liquid and dry ingredients in separate mixing bowls. 3) Slowly add the dry ingredients to the liquid ingredients, stirring until fully incorporated. 4) Pour mixture into a 9" x 13" baking dish, lined with grease paper and bake for 15 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 5) Allow to rest for 10 minutes then cut into 20, serve and enjoy.
