Enter the Great Exchange

Read |Romans 12:3|

"I’m speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him." (Romans 12:3, MSG)

Not mine, but your love
Not mine, but your grace
Not mine, but your mercy
Not mine, but your faithfulness
Not mine, but your peace
Not mine, but your life
Not mine, but your strength
Not mine, but your power
Not mine, but your fullness
Not mine, but your joy

I am just a woman
And you alone are God
God who has taken away all my brokenness
God who has given me His fullness

For all of my nothingness

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for all that you do to us, for us and through us. Help us to have eyes to clearly see your hand providing--an extension of your beautiful heart towards us. Help us to take comfort in you, who is faithful towards us. Help us to cease the striving, and receive of what you freely give. In Jesus' name, amen.
