Dear Loneliness, You appear in the crowds, as well as you do in the solitude; the thickness of you creating a great divide, even between lovers with entangled hands. Yours is a thickness that keeps souls from being known to each other. Yours is a thickness that blinds me to the ways in which I am already perfectly known. And with you comes all the shame of the lie that I am alone because I am unworthy of being known. But, there is truth to cut through your veil. Somewhere it is written that the Treasure of Heaven descended to earth, inhabited my lowly form and stretched His arms out wide on a tree for the chance of drawing me to Himself that I might know Him and He might know me. (2 Corinthians 5: 11 - 21). My value has been set. No matter how large the crowd and no matter how long my season of solitude, the price He paid says it all: I am worth knowing and I am loved. I am worth knowing and I am loved. (John 3:16 and 1 John 4: 10). All my thoughts are known to God. All my yearning is known to God. All my disappointments are known to God. (Psalm 139). All His love, still is mine. (Romans 5:5). I am never alone. He that sticks closer to a brother is mine. (Proverbs 18:24). He is with me, never to leave nor forsake me, even until the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20 and Hebrews 13:5). Sending you to the pit from whence you came, A dearly loved daughter of the Most High God. This devotion was able to break through my sadness. Praise God, He is the God who sees... powerful song that moved me to praise him.

Rochelle, I am so glad that God's words made their way to you on time. That's the way He is--on time. I am so glad that you were moved to praise and worship. Truly He is worthy of our praise.
